Whinnie shot 2 series for BBC 3 interiors show Flat Out Fabulous. The show featured unloved rental properties and a promise to transform housemates’ shared living-room for the total cost of their typical night out. With budgets as little as £400, each week featured a different design brief catered to the housemates.

Whinnie created an eclectic body of work over the 12 weeks of filming. She designed rooms full of vibrant colours and added her signature retro designs and second hand treasures. The housemates also mucked in, with Whinnie’s, easy at home crafts.
