Margate Dream House is a three-storey, five-bedroom Victorian townhouse on the Kent coast, transformed into a “dreamy, 70s inspired interior full of colour.”

Whinnies Margate home initially started life as a 3 story bed sit, before she lovingly transformed it into a 70s haven and location house. The house predominantly features hand-sourced vintage and second hand furniture, and is a crucial element to Whinnie’s design style. Retro design and sustainability are demonstrated throughout Whinnie's interior projects.

The Margate transformation garnered attention, with features in publications, including an 8 page spread for Elle Decor, a spread in Stella Magazine. Architect's Digest, The Metro, and featured in coffee table booksWhinnie lovingly restored the property into a playful and glamorous home. The property's publicity led to its role as a sought-after location house, hosting music videos for artists such as, Arlo Parks and Friendly Fires, alongside Fashion campaigns for brands including, Jaeger, LK Bennett, and Dr. Martens.
