In Changing Rooms Episode 2, Whinnie was tasked with creating a retro space for a creative couple who wanted a work and living-room area to fit within their snug historic cottage.

Whinnie’s concept "California Cottage" split the room into an office space, that could be sectioned off with a glamours velvet curtain. The office is painted from wall to ceiling in forest green with a velvet  curtain divider. The artex ceiling was continued down into the wall, to create a retro cubby hole wall for the clients prized possessions and tv. This small, but mighty room turned into a cool living, meets office space.
