"Dolls House Chic" combined a playful interior inspired by an oversized dolls house, with a pastel colour palette.

For whinnies debut episode of the iconic, re-booted series Changing Rooms, she was briefed to design for a family in an original Arts and Crafts building. The family wanted to have an interior with a  touch of "granny chic" and space for lots of storage to cater to their family.

Whinnie’s concept for "Dolls House Chic" combined a playful interior inspired by an oversized dolls house, with a pastel colour palette. The fire place tiling highlighted the original Arts and Crafts features of the property alongside playful, but functional storage. The dining table was placed on wheels and can be moved from the center of the room or slot underneath the green storage wall to create a crafting desk for the children. Whinnie also created a bespoke floral wallpaper design for the family, that features on the walls and curtains.
